Biography

Evelin Bermudez has twenty-five years' experience and training in project and programme design and management.

Evelin made a career in international development working at the World Bank and various United Nations Agencies before relocating to Switzerland. She rediscovered her passion for teaching when she joined the Lucerne School of Business in 2009 as a guest lecturer.

She is the co-founder of the Swiss Skills Academy, a social enterprise providing skills upgrading courses, and President of the Swiss International Volunteer Organisation, a non-profit supporting integration through volunteer work.

For the past 15 years, she has acquired extensive knowledge and gained experienced in all aspects of business development, operation and the management of non-profits and small businesses.

She is a lifelong learner committed to staying on top of the best current and emerging business practices, especially as they relate to social enterprises and small businesses.
